Our client, a leading distributor of minerals, is currently seeking a Temp Logistics Customer Service Administrator to join their team based in Purfleet.
This position has been created to provide cover during the holiday period and offers an opportunity to work in a supportive and friendly team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service support to clients, ensuring their logistics requirements are met efficiently.
- Coordinate and monitor the logistics process, including scheduling deliveries, liaising with carriers, and ensuring on-time delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, and customer interactions using internal systems.
- Resolve customer queries and concerns in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Support the logistics team with administrative tasks as required.
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience working within Logistics, Customer Service or administration.
Requirements:
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
